Join Homeless People on a Walking Tour of Vacant Buildings
and Lots in Christine Quinn's District!

Intro 48 is a NYC Council Bill that would empower the city to conduct an annual count of all vacant buildings and lots in the five boroughs.  It has attracted 28 co-sponsors, a majority of the Council.  Despite this support, David Pristin, the Director of the Council’s Policy Division, recently stated that “with this legislation, this is not something we’re interested in moving forward, and we’re setting it to the side.”

“Setting it to the side”?   What gives?

In the past, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn has publicly stated her support for this legislative priority -- there's video of it right here: http://vlaze.com/323385.  Now is the time for Speaker Quinn to intervene on Intro 48.  And to "bring home" the urgency of this issue for her and her constituents, homeless folks will be leading a WALKING TOUR OF VACANT BUILDINGS AND LOTS IN CHRISTINE QUINN'S HOME DISTRICT.

Please join us on this fun, empowering, eye-opening opportunity to educate our elected leaders -- so they will SCHEDULE A HEARING FOR INTRO 48 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

NYC's communities need this legislation -- We can't allow our democracy to be undermined by non-elected officials -- Now is the time for Speaker Quinn to do the right thing!
