Thanks again to everyone who came out to PTH's Tent City action in East Harlem on Thursday, July 23, or who spread the word online -- and for the support for the 10 people who were arrested. From the spirit on the ground in El Barrio on Thursday, to the media and online buzz into this week, we're excited about this wave of movement and community building. Each action and activity is part of bigger movements that belong to everyone fighting for justice, and we want to be in close touch with all of you...If you have photos or videos from Thursday in El Barrio, please send them to us! Please keep spreading the word -- send people to "http://picturethehomeless.org/blog" this blog and PTH's Twitter -- and distribute the media coverage, photos and videos of the Tent City through your blog, e-listserv, Twitter, Facebook, etc. networks.
We will do a full rundown next week of all of Picture the Homeless' press coverage and online multimedia from July -- stay tuned.
