Troy Riley joined the team on January 9th 2017. A Brooklyn born native with a long history of working with people. Whether it be in public service or directly handling issues from behind a desk at 1199 National Benefit Funds, where he has worked for over eighteen years of his adult life. He has always wanted to work with, or alongside an organization such as Picture The Homeless. He truly believes in our mission objectives, and feels with his experience and interpersonal skill he can help change the way society views the homeless. He believes that by building a relationship with homeless folks that extends past the normal encounters, you’ll find you can actually relate to folks more than you could possibly imagine. Only then can you truly understand why the narrative needs to change.
